  March 28, 2010 - Bought this one to pair with Osso Buco, like I did with the 2006 a few weeks back, but this one was a better wine and better pair for the meal than the '06. Warm, rich, good dark fruit, some smoke and spice, but enough acidity this time around that it really helped cut through the richness of the Osso Buco (it was served over mascarpone polenta, so you can imagine, I'm still feeling full the morning after). I have one more bottle of this, but seriously contemplating buying a few more - good to dring on its own or paired.
