  April 15, 2010 - Perhaps I had the Tall Trees designate late time, or maybe my palate's just matured faster than my memory, but if this is typical of Villa Mt Eden then I'm put off. Tart and acidic with very little fruit, oak, varietal character, or tannin, there's not really a whole lot to keep me drinking. It's not BAD, just not ... much or anything, really. It's a red wine.
