  May 10, 2010 - It's been a little while since I checked in on this wine, having previously had the 02 and 03 vintage. Dark violet red color with lots of blackberry liqueur on the nose mixed with a bit of new leather and cedar notes. Rich dark fruit flavors with just slightly abrasive tannins on the finish. It is pretty difficult to distinguish this from a typical Napa Cabernet Sauvignon except that perhaps it's not quite as 'big' and it's perhaps just a touch more on the spicy side. Pretty good though and I'd probably buy it again.
