  December 5, 2010 - Deserves to be called Outstanding. Great year ('07)for Nappa, and a producer that can still deliver. Selected it based on those criteria and I was not disappointed. Sampled as part of a tasting in preparation for the wedding of a friends daughter. The goal of which was to choose the best $20 price point wines to serve to a large number of people. Decanted for 1/2 hour. Lots of fresh fruit on the nose revealed a young wine. Pallate had dark cherry, cassis, plum. Lots of tannins. Very dry finish. A strong fruit forward, oaky, CA cab for lovers of that style. Good now, better in a couple of years. Should age ok for 10 from vintage date. A great QPR.
