  January 8, 2011 - The bottle was tight upon opening and took about 30 minutes of air to express itself. When it did, it was a beautifully balanced and enjoyable wine. The nose was dark cherry, and raspberry with some smoke and menthol dominated herbs. In the mouth, the vibrant acidity and round tannins held the fruit and herbal tastes in a lovely dance of elegance and restraint.
