  January 21, 2011 - Drank this alongside a Barossa Shiraz which made the Mondavi seem downright refined. I found the cab to be a pretty example of Napa Cab and a tremendous value. I do prefer aged cabs, so the tannins were a bit overwhelming. Overall I found the wine well balanced but not too interesting (probably because the tannins dominate too much at this point).
  
  I don't see how anyone could be disappointed with this wine at $20.
