  February 21, 2011 - Opened and poured an hour later. Smoke and red fruit on the nose. Light fruit with smoke and classic rhone on the palate. I think I would give it more air next time.

  4/12/11, 12:03 AM - Thanks for posting a tasting note Steve. The smoke was courtesy of Mother Nature. Mendocino had a lot of forest fires in 08 and Lake County is due east of Mendo. I would like to think that we did a nice job integrating the smoke and not having it be to overpowering.
