  February 19, 2011 - Drank with Meurig and Kristie on a Sat night filled with oddly British open-shirted Persians and a corseted catherine zeta jones wannabe, i.e. Prince of Persia. That was some impressively hokey cinema - one of the worst movies I have seen in awhile. Anyway, the wine is a bit thinner and more acidic than most Cali cabs, but definitely had some good Bordeaux characteristics and complexity. Was good with the Camembert and jam it was paired with. I think some of the bad reviews are based on erroneous expectations of an unrefined Cali fruit bomb. If that's what you are expecting from this bottle of Cab, you will be sorely disappointed.
