    March 15, 2011 - Tried at the Santa Cruz Wine Bar at San Jose International Airport. According to menu, "fragrances of black currants and black cherries lead to deep flavors of dark fruit, blueberries and vanilla with a plush mouthfeel and velvety texture." I found the nose to be complex and inviting, with leather and spice and cedar. The mouth is a little overwhelmed with maraschino cherries but there's also raspberries and blueberries. It seems high on alcohol and this 2007 is still fairly tannic. I would be interested to try in 6 months - might be better balanced.
