  June 12, 2011 - I like the Ladera Napa Valley so wanted to try their higher priced Howell Mountain appellation. Opened for a taste, dark color, berries and cherries on the nose with medium finish but seemed tight, decanted for 1 hour, some improvement. Nice wine but nothing special. At $55 / bottle I paid I need more than this delivered. I think this wine has potential, will try it again in a year.
