June 17, 2011 - Fully mature and properly stinky old syrah nose. Very leathery with sprinkles of cracked black perppercorns and autumn bonfires. Fruit is just about hanging in there lending a touch of blackcurrant liqueur, but the (nicely balanced) secondaries take centre stage. Really good with roast belly pork.
