June 24, 2011 - - Garnet color with slow forming legs and aromas of black currant, chocolate, black pepper and vanilla. It's balanced and has flavours of cherry, chocolate and black currant with a medium/full body. Satin-Like texture with a long finish - Beautiful ruby color with only slight fading at edge. Bouquet is full of gorgeous dark fruit like plums and black currant, with notes of chocolate and spice/black pepper. The mouthfeel is a medium to full bodied wine with sweet, dark cassis fruit, a slight hotness, and a finish that lasts 30+ seconds. The tannins are pleasantly "dusty" and the finish is overall soft and lush. A gorgeous effort that should go 3-4 more years. I love Forman!
