  June 27, 2011 - Light cherry red, with slight orange hue, tiny pale rim. Spicy nose of garrigue, sweet floral scents, that sweet varnishy oak I associate with Paul Draper wines. Excellent on the palate, where this really shines - light bodied, sour cherry notes, sweet cough drops balanced with black tea bitterness. Noticeable dry silky tannins. Fairly long also. Not anything to write home about, but this would be a nice complement to cherry-glazed venison. Well made, at peak and for another 5 years or so, but a bit on the forgetable side of things. Like an old, low level Graves.
