  September 11, 2010 - Dinner at Troisgros (Roanne, France): Started with simple red and black fruit on the nose and just wisps of spice. Fruit also seemed a little muted on the palate. At first, the muted fruit gave us some concern with this bottle regarding cork, but that started going away as this wine ever-so-slowly opened up. At about two hours it was showing spice and perfume on the nose and an excellent combination of red and black cherry on the palate. Really nice spice also came through on finish, with was showing mostly black fruit by the final glass.
