  October 18, 2011 - Black cherry, tobacco, pepper, slate, earth and creme de cassis aromas paired with the full bodied, beefy, masculine, style of tannic wine produced in 1995. While the wine is coming around, it will always have a tannic side to its character. There was a touch of green and some dryness in the chewy, sharp, cassis filled finish.
