  November 29, 2011 - Dominus: An Evening With Christian Moueix (Binnys Lincoln Park): Beautiful wine that is not as flawless as the 2008, but perhaps more interesting. It is brooding and moody at this youthful stage. Nose reveals red and black currant fruit, a very floral deep blossom note, forest floor, dusted notes and chocolate and plenty of earthiness. Slightly closed, opaque and definitely brooding here. I will call it vampiric! Tannins natually soft, but a little more noticeable than the 2008. Not as seamless, but just as complex and concentrated. Very long finish. Not ready to drink and not as deceivingly ready as the 08, but again it is a very interesting wine. Not perfect, but perhaps more attractive because of it.
