  January 9, 2012 - Unlike more recent vintages, this wine clocks in at 14.1% alcohol and as such is not an overripe, goopy jam bomb. In fact, it's balanced and delicious, while also having great intensity. Great Napa juice! I hope Robert Foley figures out how to make such outstanding wines again as the more recent ones are way too much for me. Such a shame that wines such as this 2001 are so difficult to find in the current day.
