  January 15, 2012 - First to say: I really love the 2001 Reseva Especial from this bodega! So we tried this one from a decanter after having a 904 from La Rioja Alta. Tja, perhaps this was the cardinal mistake? For me too much of everything...... the heavyweight corpus of this wine.... the really sweet fruit, yes spices, but ....we had some nice food with this, but no chance for the food, for me too hyperconcentrated! Want to be fair and try another bottle in some time, but for me this one was too much and I stopped nipping. But I have to admit, all of my friends liked this wine.... ;-) 86- 92?
