  January 27, 2012 - A New World Bordeaux-style wine made in an Old World style. 60% cab, 20% cab franc, 20% merlot, and 13.9% alcohol. It is nice to buy a just-released wine (2011) that is ready to drink now. Restrained fruit of dried cherry is counterbalanced by some earthiness and dried spice. Interesting to drink by itself, but also similar to more brawny / earthy food friendly French / Italian blends.
