  February 10, 2012 - Very modern Barolo that is approachable at this relatively young age. Nose is understated with plumbs and cherries. Color is a bright Pinot-Esk red that is fairly transparent. Palate is cherries, tar and tobacco but done in a style that is refreshing/zesty. There is enough tanin for the wine to keep but not sure it gets much better fom hear. 5+12+16+8=91
