  February 25, 2012 - La Paulée de San Francisco 2012 (San Francisco, CA): Just across from Les Aigrots, and stunningly similar, this is my new obsession: Beaune blanc. This wine was like a fresh tarte tatin. Flowers, limestone minerality evocative of Chablis to me, honey, fresh malic fruit acid. Dips in the midpalate as did the Lafarge Aigrots, and finishes sweet and round in a manner that suggests it might need acid, but all the same: I could bathe in this for days.
