  April 6, 2012 - Wanted to test how a young wine can evolve so opened and slowly drank for about 6 hours. Took at least two hours to start open up while the aroma was quite appealing from the beginning. A mixture of blackberry, leather and acidic. Really started to blossom after four hours where the layer finally appeared and the tannin kicking in. Not my favorite St Julien but definitely show the characteristic of this region
