  July 7, 2012 - Well balanced. Prominent nose, blackberry and smoke. Palate is consistent, perhaps some cut hay lingering in the background. Medium weight. Would never know it is 14.8% alc. Great value at $26. I'd disagree with my predecessors re it being tart. Healthy tannins.
