  July 9, 2012 - Lovely light ruby. Some cherry and heat on the nose. Sweet, ripe Merlot dominates with flavors of black raspberry, smoke, spices... Complex, clean, accessible.e. I did not get a sense of chunkiness or lack of balance, or over-extraction. Everything seemed in its right place for a mid-weight LD in its first seductive fruit phase.
