  August 16, 2012 - Greenish light yellow. Lemon honey, grassy, pear. Palate with American persimmon, waxy lemon, green pear, a minerally feel. The astringent nature is interesting, but ultimately perhaps a bit harsh. Good QPR.
  
  I liked it, but the spouse would not even venture beyond the first sip. (Given to her blind, but I don't think I've ever given her a So. African wine she has liked. I don't think that is uncommon in the US. I wouldn't want to try to make a living selling them here.)
