  March 9, 2006 - Bigger than the 1999 also opened but not as enjoyable right now. Great fruit, but more acidity and not quite perfectly in balance right now. I am confident this will be an excellent wine but I'd hold onto it until 2008. Have no fear of the fruit fading. For now, I'd clearly vote for the 1999. But I will need a recount a few years down the road.
