  September 12, 2012 - Brown, spicy, mulchy aromas with yellow lentils, bay and ethereal old Pinot notes of veggie stock, menthol and sweat. The palate is sweetly fruited with raspberry at mid and lemony acidity at mid to long. There is a bit of hard, citrus zest bitterness on the finish that is not unappealing. This is lovely and silky but has a cloying character at mid that makes it hard to drink much. Good length.
