September 19, 2012 - Holy smokes! I'd echo cct's 6/7/2012 description - that's the same wine I tasted, related better than I could - but be more generous on the points. This was truly special IMO. And while I feared aged Gewurz might not please the assembled crowd of very casual wine drinkers, it was universally acclaimed - and it paired as perfectly as I'd hoped with the Mughal lamb roast in raisin-saffron-garam masala sauce (Shahi Raan, Julie Sahni's recipe).
