September 25, 2012 - On opening: lean, tight, balanced, red fruit, definitely not over-ripe. An honest and straight-forward wine with little oak influence. All day slow-ox with dinner: showing more intensity and spicy character, nice texture, balanced acidity. After two days in the fridge: Much more open, very pretty. This should be an excellent wine if you can hold for 5 or 10 years.
