  October 6, 2012 - A little hot at first. Ultimately lovely nose with cinnamon and cardamon, with plums and a bit of oak. Medium bodied, fully resolved, more spice - cinnamon, asian spice - ripe fruit but still taut and together. More complex over time, alcohol receding. Long finish of ripe but still tart fruit, cherries maybe and spice with a cleansing bit of acidity. I wouldn't worry if I had more bottles (sniff, sniff, I don't) but I'd drink over the next few years.
  
  A pretty wine of both richness and finesse. Well done!
