  October 15, 2012 - Concentrated and perfumed, the 2005 is a deep wine with aromas of licorice, cherries, spices, and hints of chocolate and flowers. The palate is very dense and the wine needs a few more years to become better integrated. However, there is heat, with substantial alcohol on the nose, which I would have preferred if that component was a bit less prominent. Drink from now 2014 until 2022.
