  October 20, 2012 - The aromatics are fruit forward but decidedly balanced, with gorgeous cool ripe strawberry, cherry, and blueberry overlying wet slate, stem, and underbrush. The palate opens with fantastically pure berry fruit that becomes more tart and focused and the wine progresses. Incorporating elements of violets, dried roses, and gravel add complexity throughout. This is strikingly silky in texture with mouthwatering acidity on the finish. Excellent with good cellar potential. R&M 90
