  February 2, 2007 - Wow - right out of the bottle this really worked for me. Dark purple color, meaty/floral aromas along with a hint of bell pepper (which I normally find off-putting, but it works here). It is still too young, of course, and a bit tannic, but shows good underlying black and red fruits, a bit of licorice, maybe some tar, and pretty good overall balance. I look forward to this one after it's got another year or two of age.
