  November 18, 2012 - Still dark cherry in color. Enjoyable nose of plum, cigar box, earth and vanilla. Started a tad slowly, but evolved into a smooth balanced palate of blackberry, cassis, chocolate, earth and leather. Quite enjoyable. One of the few 2000s I have had to date that I thought was ready to drink, but with a decent life ahead.
