November 9, 2012 - This unblinded tasting was enjoyable start-to-finish. Light ruby in color, it is a gem with an intense, perfumed nose, showing floral, strawberry and raspberry aromas which tease the taster to continue on the "journey" to the palate. The tease to the palate is not disappointing. The wine is crisp, with similar flavors as the nose and well-integrated alcohol (listed as 13%). The tannins, while relatively light, are still a bit dusty. Solid in the middle, it ends with a long, albeit slightly dry finish. This unequivocally "feminine" Burgundy needs just a bit of time to let the light but edgy tannins soften a bit. Drink 1/14-12/20.
