  January 19, 2013 - Purple in the glass. Lots of character in the nose. I got violets, black currant and cotton candy. The violet thing thing must be coming from the 32% cab franc. First taste is slightly sweet but finish is much more balanced. Not too much barrel, and the alcohol is background. Very nice wine. I think it will mature well over a couple more years but is very drinkable now.
