  February 9, 2013 - This is certainly one of the best Carlisles I've had the opportunity to drink and I've consumed a lot of them. This wine has everything going for it a great vintage, great winemaker, and some of the best if not the best syrah fruit in California. Although six years old and an hour decant it still drank like a baby. It has to last and probably improve for at least five years and hold another five years. A wonderful wine
