  February 10, 2013 - Gorgeous. Celebrating the big 50. Bottle and cork in perfect condition. Did not decant, as I believe the wine will last longer in the bottle with the sediment. Opened about three hours before drinking. Ruby color with some bricking just beginning to form on the edges. Dark cherries with a hint of alcohol on the finish. Beautifully integrated. Surprised how youthful and vibrant this is. Many years ahead of it if properly stored. Hope it is a good omen!
