  February 16, 2013 - Ruby red with aromas of black fruit, earth and tobacco. It was very feminine with a hint of tobacco. It was balanced and smooth...had a medium body and after taste. It seemed a little flat at first and definitely needed to open up for an hour or so and then the complexities developed in earthiness and oak. We had it with cheese but I think that it would have been much better with a lean cut of beef.
