April 28, 2012 - Excellent and a great value! Fruit was still lively after 15 years. Classic mature tempranillo profile, except lighter on tobacco than many favorites. No more detailed notes as this was at 40th Birthday Party. It really needed decanting for 1-2 hours to reach full volume and to reveal spicy complexity.

4/9/15, 6:39 PM - Oddly most all other vintages were a real disappointment. I find poor notes for 2001, 2002 (admittedly a lowpoint for all in the region), 2009 and 2010. It has a tart, sour edge that ruins the balance in many other years.
