  March 3, 2013 - Such a fantastic wine, finally drank after nine years, six of which were spent on my shelf. We served up some lamb burgeres and a caprese salad, and decanted the wine - though I am not sure if this was a must (the cork broke, so we needed to filter out some debris). Dark cherry and cranberry on the palate mixed with a nose of the same plus some good tobacco and mahogany notes. Outrageously smooth and well balanced, we were so sad to drink the last drop. They don't bottles like this every day.
