  December 31, 2012 - New Year's Eve at Buku with Steve & Barb. Extremely dark ruby in color. Very open right now and very Chave. Nowhere near peak but incredibly delicious today. I continue to believe that this wine is "the next generation" of the '89 Chave showing a similar richness and depth to the fruit. Easily has 20+ years of excellent drinking ahead of it. 50+14+14+15+9.5=97.5(+?)
