  March 29, 2013 - Subtle nose, not as aromatic as last tasted about 10 months ago. Notes of wet earth, blackberry, vanilla, dark cherry, and dark chocolate. Sweet on entry with slightly dry mid-palate and slight heat at finish. Tannins seem to be more prominent than previous bottles. Medium bodied with decent length and structure, but it is not as lively as previous bottles. Shows better one hour after uncorked, softer tannins with toasty oak finish. 90-92 pts.
