  March 30, 2013 - Big ripe nose of black fruit (blackberry, blueberry etc) spice and funk. On the palate it was ripe tasting like the new world but with a little funk of the old world. Really enjoyed this wine. To be critical, it's differing yet intense components could've been tied to together a little more harmoniously. Yes big fruit, yes leather, yes earth, yes spice... but it could have been more seamless... should I be picky. Still lots of life left.
