  April 4, 2013 - The 2009 Peju 'Delicias' is a dessert wine made from Zinfandel grown in Napa Valley. It flows with layers of mixed dark fruits, plum reduction, raisin, vanilla, caramel and floral notes. What is so amazing is how balanced this is, delivering the fruit in a graceful, almost elegantly fashion for such a powerful wine that boasts 17.9% alcohol. Delicious now, but would certainly like to see this again after a few years of cellaring. (Best 2015-2024) - March, 2013 (JD)
