April 12, 2013 - Not decanted, sipped on over ~45 minutes. While not bad, I'm pretty sure this bottle was not "right." Compared to our first one, the fruit here was darker and a bit muted, and there was a smoky, astringent character which made it seem almost like a different wine...I didn't mind it as much as my wife did.

4/14/13, 3:36 PM - I have noticed a marked change with time. Upon opening, it is like over the hill, over ripe fruit and funky, a bit disappointing. I let it sit overnight and it got much better. Same thing last night. First glass so, so. Second glass decent. Will see how it fares tonight. The previous bottle went from 87 PnP to 92 three nights later. I should have bought magnums, or just open and drink something else first.
