April 22, 2013 - Scott Paul Burgundy Club. Popped and poured. Day 1 - Noticeably light in color, very see-through not that this matters, pretty. Aromatically, quite fragrant, very good intensity and aromatic penetration for bourgogne. Also, noticeable reduction obscures the component character but not in a concerning manner. In the mouth, this wine makes its best impression. A lovely, truly yummy bourgogne! Soft yet intense with a penetrating aspect done just right. Needs food. This could probably use a year or two to really come into its own and that should be exciting...would really be exciting if it was sub $20, but alas...this is burgundy in vintage 2010!
