  April 28, 2013 - Big powerful Merlot! I agree with a previous tasting note that it is hard to distinguish this from a big cabernet. Nose and palate of rich dark fruits along with some hints of sweet tobacco. I definitely noticed a sweetness on the palate and finish from the oak. I'm personally not a fan of too much oak, but I did appreciate the balance. Enjoyed by all of our friends at dinner.
