June 2, 2013 - Good deep garnet colour. A bit of stink at first and otherwise closed. After 2 hours earth, plums and a lovely haunting fruit quality on the nose. Earthy, rich fruit on the palate, nice cut from the acidity but not unbalanced. Elegant and complex, if not the last word in grip and intensity.
