  July 13, 2013 - I was expecting this wine to come across as young, as do most One Point Five's; however, this wine just needs an hour or two decanting to be beguiling. Immense character, nose of dark berries, loam and forest floor, supple - silky tannins, long legs and smooth long taste. Given another year bottle age, this will likely earn a higher rating. I have yet to open it's bigger brother, Hillside Select; I'll be patient, but based on the 1.5, I have no doubt it will be great.
